Privacy Policy
Last Updated: February 2026
1. The "Edge-First" Philosophy
At UTHAKKAN, we believe that your data is exactly that — yours. Our core architecture is built on the principle of Local browser-side computation.
Unlike traditional online tools that require you to upload files to a remote server for processing (where they could be intercepted, stored, or analyzed), PixTool uses WebAssembly (WASM) and modern Canvas APIs to perform all transformations directly in your browser's memory.
2. Data Zero-Retention Policy
We operate under a strict Zero-Retention policy for all user-generated content:
- Zero File Uploads: Your images, PDFs, and documents are never transmitted to our servers. Processing happens in a secure, isolated sandbox within your browser.
- No Account Requirements: We do not require registration or login to use our core tools, eliminating the need to collect names, emails, or personal identifiers.
- Temporary Mail Privacy: Our Temp Mail service uses secure API calls to create volatile mailboxes that are permanently deleted once you close your session.
- Local Storage: Any settings (like theme preference) are stored locally on your device via
localStorageand are never synced to a cloud database.
3. Security Framework
PixTool leverages Content Security Policy (CSP) and HTTPS encryption to ensure that your interaction with our tools remains secure. Our browser-first architecture is designed to support privacy-by-default practices aligned with frameworks like GDPR and CCPA because user files are processed locally and are not uploaded to our servers.
4. Third-Party Services & Advertising (Google AdSense)
To provide 100% free, unrestricted access to all 64+ tools without subscriptions, paywalls, or fees, PixTool uses third-party advertising partners, including Google AdSense.
Google AdSense & DoubleClick Cookies
- Third-Party Vendors & Google: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve advertisements based on a user's prior visits to PixTool or other websites.
- Advertising Cookies: Google's use of advertising cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve relevant advertisements to our visitors based on their visit to PixTool and other sites on the Internet.
- Zero Access to Personal Files: None of our advertising partners or advertising cookies have access to your documents, images, PDFs, or local file processing workflows, which execute strictly in your browser's private memory.
Managing & Opting Out of Personalized Advertising
You have the right to opt out of personalized advertising and manage your cookie preferences at any time:
- Google Ads Settings: Opt out of Google's personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com).
- Digital Advertising Alliance: Opt out of participating third-party vendor cookies across the web at www.aboutads.info or YourAdChoices.
- Network Advertising Initiative: Opt out of interest-based advertising at networkadvertising.org.
- Browser Controls: You can configure your web browser to block, reject, or clear cookies through your browser's security and privacy settings.
5. Data Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access: You can request copies of your personal data.
- Right to Rectification: You can request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
- Right to Erasure: You can request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
- Right to Object: You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data.
Note: Since PixTool is a Zero-Registration platform and processes files locally, we do not store your files or personal identity on our servers, making exercise of these rights naturally inherit in our design.
